This home was designed by Chindarsi Architects. Construction of this three level design on a small rear sub-divided inner-city block had some serious challenges, having neighbours on three sides with rear laneway access.

The ultra-modern space was maximized by excavating a basement level to create a wine cellar and a den.

The deep excavation required close negotiation with all three neighbours and injection of soil stabilisers and prefabricating steel elements to cope with the tight access.

All maximised by the access to a lift to all three levels.
